Summary
Aligns Oregon’s free speech protections regarding obscenity with the federal standard, allowing regulation of pornography.
Biblical Reasoning
For years, the Oregon State Supreme Court has said that, unlike 48 other states, Oregon’s Constitution prohibits virtually any restraint on pornography at all. This Measure would change our State Constitution, and thus allow the State of Oregon to punish the evil-doers who push pornography on the children of this state, and who sell depictions of wickedness (child pornography, etc.).
Election Results
The measure to limit free speech protection for obscenity failed narrowly with 47% of the vote.

This Measure would change our State Constitution, and thus allow the State of Oregon to punish the evil-doers who push pornography on the children of this state, and who sell depictions of wickedness (child pornography, etc.). We strongly encourage a YES vote on this very important Measure.
